20 points before launching your website

This is the list we check internally before taking any project live. Use it to audit your current website or the one you're about to launch. If several points say no, you know where to start.

Before you design

  • 01You've defined ONE main goal for the site (sell, generate inquiries, book).
  • 02You know who your ideal customer is and what they need to see to trust you.
  • 03Your copy is clear: what you do, for whom, and why they should choose you.
  • 04You've chosen a domain and verified it's registered in your name.

Content and SEO

  • 05Every important service has its own page with real content.
  • 06Every page has a unique title and meta description with keywords.
  • 07Images have descriptive alt text.
  • 08You've added structured data (schema) for your organization and services.
  • 09You've created a sitemap.xml and a robots.txt.
  • 10You've thought about GEO: can AI understand and cite your brand? (llms.txt, citable content).

Technical & performance

  • 11The site loads in under 2.5 seconds on mobile (measure it with PageSpeed Insights).
  • 12It looks good on phone, tablet and desktop.
  • 13You have an SSL certificate (padlock / https).
  • 14Content appears in the HTML, not only after JavaScript runs.
  • 15You've set up a useful 404 page with outbound links.

Conversion & measurement

  • 16There's a clear call to action on every page (button, form, WhatsApp).
  • 17The form works and messages reach an inbox you actually check.
  • 18You've installed analytics (GA4 / GTM) with a cookie banner and consent.
  • 19You've defined what counts as a conversion (lead, purchase, call).

Legal

  • 20You've published a privacy policy that matches your country's law (in Argentina, Law 25.326).
